Hello, we were wondering if the 3:oo pm flight back to Atlantic City airport would be a safe flight back time wise? We heard it takes time to get off the boat and this is our first cruise

That will depend on what time the ship docks when it returns to port. If your return is early a.m. then a 3 p.m. flight will work very well. You'll just have to find something to do between the time you disembark and the time of your flight.

We just returned from the Liberty 3 March. We were off by 8:30. Had a 12:05 flight and were in the Airport for at least 1n hour and 1/2 before the flight. HOWEVER, if there are problems with weather etc. and you dock late then there is a sliding window of opportunity. That being said I would suspect that if you're off the ship by noon you'd be safe! I think the 3pm departure time is very realistic. Keep in mind taxies are at a premimum! There are pleanty of vans going to the airport for $8 pp. don't dally!
