Sicily Tours

Recommended Posts

We did a tour Sidily Life last July and it was excellent. We had Allessandro. He picked us (6 fifty-something adults) up at the dock on time and we were one of the first ones out fo the port parking lot. He drove us up to a cute town and church for some pictures and then up to Mount Aetna. We spent about 45 minutes walking around and he was helpful explaining the history of eruptions, etc. We got there about 30 minutes ahead of the tour busses - a big plus. One the way down we stopped at the Murgo Winery for a tour and tasting. A nice place, the wine was so-so. The he drove us to Taoromina. We had about 2 hours there - wish we had more. By the time we had lunch, not much time for much else. As much as I enjoy wine and wineries, I think I would have rather skipped the winery and had more time in Taoromina He picked us up later to take us back to the ship. Price for the 6 of us was 396 Euros, which last year was about $591 . I would highly recommend the company and the tour.
