Aft Freedom Js

Would love to hear more about Aft JS on Freedom. We booked Aft 1706 and have never had a balcony room before. Are these aft JS smaller than the side JS. They look smaller on the deck plans (thinner)

I think the back is better it has a nicer view .I think there the same size ,its not smaller.

I have also read that you have to look out over your balcony to see the water. The infrastructure is in the way. And when you look down it has other balconies. Does anyone know if you can hear the ocean sounds if you leave your door opened? Being on the 10th floor I'm curious to know.
