Good Morning,

My family and I are taking the Southern Caribbean cruise the week of April 7th. We will be able to do some shopping in Barbados, St. Lucia & Antigua (we are fully booked in St. Maarten & St. Thomas).

Were are the good places to shop (good merchandise and/or good prices) on those 3 islands? Also, what areas should we avoid?

If you can, try to find some time to shop in St. Maarten. I think the best shopping was there. Right off the ship too.:D

Much depends on what you are shopping for as far as Barbados is concerned. I wouldn't look for clothing, but jewelry might be good, and possibly electronics, although St. Maarten is a better option for those.

Not quite sure what I'm looking to buy on the islands. Something unqiue to that area. Definately a Christmas ornament from each island. That is what we collect every time we go on vacation. Then, when we are decorating our tree every year - we can remember our trips. I also collect keychains.

I am looking for loose beads. Does anyone know if I can find bead shops on any of the islands? I make jewelry and would love to have some cool beads from the "tropics".
