Sloths & Toucans

We'd love to take a family tour to see Sloths and Toucans (and other wildlife) during our cruise visit to Costa Rica, Limon at the end of the year.

Does anyone know of a tour that would include this, with as little travelling as possible and with no zip lines/white water rafting etc etc, and where it would be to?

How long would the tour be, how much would it cost and/or any other info?

Thanks :(

Wildlife's never a guarantee, but when we were on the portion of our tour that went on the Tortugeuro Canal we did see a family of sloths, as well as some very pretty birds (no toucans, though) and an American crocodile. The canal tour is easy - it's a bus ride to the dock, then a comfortable boat ride along the canal.

We just got back from the Brilliance 11 day cruise, and I booked a tour with Oscar Brown. We were in a small 12 person van, and visited the Canals, the DelMonte banana plantation, a beach and an animal sanctuary that had a 4 month old sloth she was caring for, toucans, peacocks, monkeys (3 or4 kinds), wild turkeys, and other birds, and was very fun to visit. The canal tour was included and we saw alligators, bats, herrons, turtles, sloths, monkeys and other wild "wild" life. Great tour and half the price of the ship's tour. We left at 9 and were back on the ship by 2:00.
