Viewing the planes at Maho

I hear this is a must see, and the sunset beach bar is the place to go. Do the planes arrive in the afternoon. Should we have lunch at Sunset Beach Bar or would other places be recommended? Does Sunset get crowded?

Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO DO LUNCH. THE TAXI RIDE FOR TWO WAS $16.00 SIMPLY GO ON LINE TO PRINCESS JULIANA AIRPORT AND FIND THE LANDING SCHEDULE FOR THAT DAY. THE 747 JETS FROM EUROPE ARE A MUST FEEL AS THEY LAND RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU. THE GROUPER SANDWICH WAS GREAT. TAXIS DRIVE BY THE BEACH ALL DAY LONG AND HAILING ONE IS EASY. ASK TO BE DROPPED OFF IN TOWN ON BACK STREET SO THAT YOU CAN SHOP TO THE SHIP. SONESTA CASINO IS OKAY FOR A RESTING PLACE FROM THE BEACH. ONLY 1/2 MILE WALK FROM THE RUNWAY

WE WILL BE THEIR MARCH 28TH ON THE CB

ALWAY BEST REGARDS, BRIFRO-- B752

Does anyone know how long we should allow for traffic back from maho to dock. we have to be onboard at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm departure. I know traffic can be bad, but HOW bad:) do you think 2 1/2 hours will be ample

2 1/2 hours is plenty of time. I plan on staying untill 4 which I have done before and made ship fine.
