How Far From San Diego Airport To Carnival Cruise Terminal??

How far is it from the airport in San Diego to the Cruise Terminal that Carnival uses?

 

Do they have shuttles or do you have to take a cab?

 

Any information or tips for getting around or aboard would be appreciated.

The airport can't be more than a 10 minute ride. Cabs should be readily available at the airport. If you are arriving the day before, the Holiday Inn San Diego-On The Bay is directly across the street from the cruise terminal and they have a complimentary airport shuttle.

Hey - Thanks for the great info-

 

The airport sounds real close - that makes our getting reservations SO much easier-

(I am looking at a 12:20pm Southwest flight back to San Jose and with your info there should be pleanty of time to get to the airport)-

I would be more concerned about getting off the ship early enough and the wait times at the airport.
