Sailing to Bahamas May 12th ...

Hey All!!

I'm traveling to the Bahamas/Bermuda from NYC on the Dawn on May 12-19th. I wanted to know what the weather is like (which is hard to tell) but the main reason I'm asking is because I went on a trip in 2005 on the Eastern (or WEstern, i forget) - at the end of May into June. It was a 10-day ship and I only saw 2.5 days of sun! It was miserable...our spirits plummeted and there was constant bickering. (The ship was still lovely and entertaining but the biggest treat for me is laying in the sun enjoying the pool-side entertainment!!)

I'm hoping that mid-may is a huge difference than later May/early June. Not to mention, I went on a different itinerary. I believe Bahamas/Bermuda is okay in May?? This time I'm going with my boyfriend (who has NEVER been on a cruise before) and I want him to have a great experience...

I've been on one NCL cruise before but it was almost TOO large and didn't get to enjoy the rock-climbing due to bad weather, etc. Before that I've been on two Royal Caribbean that were amazing. So, I'm excited to explore the Dawn..I've heard mixed revues but I'm not too hard to please...

any thoughts on the weather?

THANKS GUYS! :D
