bahama_mama Posted March 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I am traveling with a group on the Glory in July. One of our stops is Nassau which is my least favorite spot to stop. We wanted to go snorkeling when we were there. The question I have is: Has anyone ever rented a catamaran in Nassau themselves for snorkeling instead of doing one of the snorkeling excurtions? Thanks for your help.
bguppies Posted March 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2007 You might want to try asking this on the Bahamas board, where people who actually live there and travel there frequently, could help answer it quicker. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 I personally love Nassau and hate that our stop on the Glory is only for 6 hours, versus the 24 hours we have had on our last two trips on the Sensation. Never at a loss for stuff to do in our 24 hours.

Saw some beautiful water and fish and some amazing homes along the water. We snorkeled with the Sharks too and got to feed them. I didn't like Nassau too much either but the Stuart Cover snorkeling was wonderful. As I call it was not incredibley expensive either.
