They can be rented at several places, for example Snorkel Bobs in Hawaii

You can purchase them at Honolua Surf shop and several other places. I have used several of these and currently own two. The masks that flip up and down, sort of fold over towards the inside, are best. If the water is slightly rough, you can flip the mask portion and really stick your face in for optimal viewing. If you want to just peer thru and not mess up your make-up or hair or lose contacts, just sort of gaze thru while floating around. They are great! Good to keep you from scratching up on the coral when you have misjudged the distance in the water - so save you a few scrapes - I cant say enough good things about them! Great for all levels from beginning or children to lazy expert adults! Have fun! :D
