not that I ever used it...but the travel insurance which I think was mostly death coverage when you bought an airline ticket is being discontinued...and it looks like its being done on all B of A cards....

I hope the automobile collision coverage isn't next.

I got my notice yesterday and am glad you brought this up. From what I am reading they are also going to charge $1.50 monthly "minimum finance charge" no matter if your balance is paid or not unless you write them and "reject" this new policy. Did I read that correctly because that really sounds unfair. I would think everyone would write in to "reject" it.

1. its only if you don't pay you account in full in each month.

2. If you reject it they close your account.

3. the increase is from .50 to 1.50 if you leave any charges at all(about $150.00) it doesn't matter. its only if you carry a small month to month amount which you should not do.

I think :)

Well that is much clearer, thanks. I was thinking about mailing in my "reject" letter, but I certainly don't want them to close my acct and I lose all my hard earned points. We try to pay it off each month, so it sounds like we won't be affected.

Thanks again for the explanation -
