Casey2 Posted March 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2007 We are interested in the Tortugero Canal tour either with Oscar Brown or Charlie Soto. The descriptions seem very similar. Are these tours the same or are there any differences? Oscar's tour goes to a wildlife preserve, bamboo trade school, and coco beans farm. Charlie Soto doesn't mention this in his description. Does anyone know if he goes to these places?

Bambo trade school is a place they make bambo furniture, Coco beans farm (at our tour) is a place they grow Cocoa trees and a wildlife preserve is at home of someone Oscar knew, you will get to see Toucans, sloth etc... Charlie probably will do most like Oscar. Regardless what business you select you will enjoy your day in Costa Rica. If you are a coffee drinker, don't forget to pick some either at the pier side or at a local market (ask them and they will tell you). If someone in your family is a baker, Costa Rica vanila is real good too. Truyen
