Carnival Victory ?'s

Hello I am going on the Victory Cruise on 8/23/04 from NYC to Canada and was wondering what kind of card games they had in the casino? I know this is a random question, but i cannot find the answer anywhere. I have read hte other reviews and I am really excited. I have been on one other cruise last summer, a Carnival one to the Carribean, but it was not the Victory. Thank you. Also, what kind of gymis on there, I know they ahve machines and free weights, but are they in good condition, is it always packed, etc...

I don't know about any the gym, but I do know that they offer blackjack and poker in the casino as well as craps and slots of course. I dont know if they have speciality games such as Let it Ride or Pai Gow Poker, but they have the basics.

I was on the Victory two years ago. Can't help with the Casino questions, but the gym was quite nice. It was a seven day out of Miami and it was never so crowded that you couldn't get a good workout. The had a pretty decent selection of machines and free weights, plus the usual aerobic equipment.

WOW Thanks a lot!!! In specific I was talking about maybe 7-card stud, Omaha, or Hold 'em. Gym sounds good, and I have to keep/get back into shape. I want to be able to eat all those desserts!!!

None of the Carnival ships that I have been on have any multi-player poker pot games. There are some special poker cruises offered periodically in which a tour company uses other rooms on the ship for poker. Typically you have Pai-Gow, Three-card poker, blackjack, and some now have let-it-ride.
