ChiroCruiser Posted March 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We are sailing on Carnival Glory June 23 and have several kids with us. They are wanting to try the Boss Underwater Adventure or Snuba in St. Thomas. These kids are 11, 12 and 14. Any suggestion as to which would be the better pick? COCruiseChic Posted March 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2007 I have done BOB in St. Thomas, and Snuba in Grand Cayman, and I personally prefer the Snuba. BOB was a once in a lifetime experience, but we found the scooters to be hard to steer, and the bubbles kept fogging up, making it very hard to see. Also, the ones we were on, you had to hold a button down with your thumb the entire time, it doesn't sound too bad-but my thumb got ver tired very quickly! I am glad that we tried BOB, but it is very unlikely that I'd do it again. Snuba, on the other hand, although I did not do it in St. Thomas, was fantastic. I have always snorkled, and am not certified to dive, and I just loved the freedom that I had with snuba. I will surely do it again!
