San Juan

Has anyone rented scooters on San Juan and explored on their own?

Didn't see them there, but be advised that the traffic is a nightmare. Signals only seem to be suggestions. If you want to tour the Old San Juan area there are free trolleys that take you to the forts and such and much of it is very walkable.

Oh, definitely. Crossing the street is an experience.

I remember getting annoyed with someone who helpfully stopped to let me cross but it was no help at all cause there were still cars whizzing by in the other 3 lanes and her car right in front of me only served to block my view.
