Beer Prices on the Pearl

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of doing a bar setup for the Pearl. I am not sure if it is worth it purchase the beer this way. Does anyone know what the cost of a beer is on the Pearl? It would be $4.54 per bottle for domestic and $5.18 per bottle for import. Is that a better price?

I will order the hard alcohol for sure as it is definatley less expensive.

Thank you for your help!!!!:)

The beer prices are the same with or without the Bar set-up. The Pearl does offer "the bucket" of beer. Buy 5 and get one free. Also, we just return from the Pearl 9 day and they had many buy-one get-one drinks specials. My husband is a beer drinker, so when they had the drink specials, he buy a bucket (6) and get a bucket free (6). What's nice about that is you can always get a refill of ice for the bucket and the beer stays nice and cold. The 2-for-1's were offered mostly at the pool bar between 4 and 6 and occasionally in the Casino. Check the Freestyle Daily.

Enjoy! :)

Also, Miller Lite and Coors Lite is about 50 cents less per bottle than Bud Lite. Not sure what type you drink. We didn't know this until the last day of our 9 nite cruise! Definitely watch for the 2 for 1 sales, a real bargain. You can also exchange a warm beer for a cold one at any of the bars. They are not the twist off tops, so you need to have a bartender open them, unless you bring a bottle opener with you.

Pamera,

That's great info. I've still got several yellow helmet buckets sitting around the house and in my RV and love the bargain 6 for the price of five. Twelve for the price of five is simply awesome. I never knew they would offer them two for one. I'll be on the lookout for the twofur's in 10 days while aboard the Pearl. Thanks again!:D

Thanks for the great tips. So, if we buy the 2 for 1 bucket, would we be able to put the extra beer in our cabin fridge for the next day as long as we bring a bottle opener?

Yep - just be sure to ask then NOT to open all the bottles. (Sometimes they would open all the beers in the bucket...) And that is exactly what we did - took the extras (if there is such a thing) back to the room and put them in the fridge. The next day, we had the bucket refilled with ice and off we went...

You get to keep the bucket until the end of the cruise. They are supposed to charge a $5.00 refundable fee for each bucket. (You are only charged the $5.00 if you don't return the bucket at the end of the cruise.) But they didn't always remember to charge the deposit.
