LarryF Posted March 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2007 We are sailing NB on Sapphire to Alaska May 19. I originally had a mini suite on Dolphin deck, but found out it was uncovered. I didn't want to chance the elements and changed to a Balcony room mid ship on Baha deck. Now I'm toying with changing to the Lido deck. Both rooms are on the port side (can't find anything on starboard side at all). We were in a Lido cabin on the Golden and found the area to be quiet with less foot traffic; it's near the pools and jacuzzis (I do plan to use the Jacuzzis) and it's close to the Buffet Restaurant. It will cost about $125 more to get the Lido cabin. Any thoughts? Is it worth it to make this change? Thanks, Larry
LarryF Posted March 21, 2007 Author #2 Share Posted March 21, 2007 I also can get a midship Balcony on Caribe deck. I know the balconies are larger on this deck but half is covered and the other half uncovered. Any thoughts on this deck as well??

giggster11 Posted March 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Larry- We were on Sapphire twice on the Caribe deck and loved it. Great sized balcony with the half covering. You could sit back by the door and have your privacy or be out in the light and enjoy that as well. People above can see if you're at the rail and you can see them if you look back but everybody basically was out there to enjoy their balconies and didn't care what was going on. When we go Princess again we're aiming for Caribe deck if that says anything to you. Hope that helps.
