sandramerle Posted April 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Does anybody know if the hairdryers with American voltage can be used on QM11 and also if they have facilities on board for developing digital cameras. We are leaving on the Jewels of Iberia in May. I also wonder where the best tables for two in the Britannia would be. Many thanks
cusyl Posted April 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2004 There is a regular American voltage plug in the cabin, no need for an adapter. I can not advise regarding unloading your digital camera. Why don't you just purchase an additional memory card. A bad day at sea is better than a good day at work 26 cruises since 1964 -Proud member of O.A.T.C. Bill and Ray Posted April 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Isn't there a hairdryer in each cabin? I believe ours was in the drawer near the refrigerator. As I remember, it is already wired in and cannot be removed. It's only been three months! Hope I still remember my way around come Sunday! Cruuuzer Posted April 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Yes, there is one in the desk drawer and it is wired in. The cord is pretty short though, so I brought my own.
cusyl Posted April 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2004 yes, hairdryers are attached in the drawer, but very unhandy to use. (Must have been a guy's idea - LOL) It is almost impossible to blow dry with a brush, easier to bring your own.
