Payne Beach

We went to Paynes Beach in November, and were disappointed because of all the construction noise. They were ripping down older hotels, and the cranes and jackhammers were awful. We walked over to Blue Monkey beach (so named for the Blue Monkey bar) and the noise got worse. We kept walking north along the beach to Sandy Lane resort, which had a gorgeous beach and NO construction. We didn't want the go to the Boatyard, as it seems so commercial. If I go back, I'd like to try Crane Beach.
