hi! new to cruise critic, long time cruise fan. is anyone going on the crown princess 8/1/07 out of brooklyn,ny? do you have any advice about taking a mini-suite with a uncovered deck?

As sponge said we also have been on the Dolphin Deck with uncovered balcony and we are not bothered at all by it. People can look down on us but on the other hand we can look up at them.:D Some people are bothered by it though but not us. Also as Sponge said just go back to what I call the Table of Contents and scroll down to your roll call where you can meet people that are going on the cruise with you., There is also a Ports of Call board where you can find all interesting things for the ports you are visiting.
