First time Cruiser can someone help

I will be cruising for the first time in August on the RCCL Liberty of the Seas we have a Grand Suite. I'm trying to decide what time to make my air fare going back home to New Jersey. Can someone please tell me around what time will I be getting off the boat, if the boat docks back in Miami at 9 am. Also if its cheaper for me to fly back from Fort Lauderdale I will book that i just want to give myself enough travel time to get to the airport whether or not were leaving from Miami or Fort Lauderdale back home.

Usually it would be best not book flights before midday to be on the safe side.

I agree with the above poster. If the ship is scheduled to dock at 9 am, it could take up to two hours for you to get off the ship (depending on the color of the tag they give you) and then you have to "find" your luggage and go through customs.
