ws293 Posted August 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2004 Hi everyone, I 'm going on a cruise on the Mariner of the Seas and it is embark and debark from Port Canaveral. I have purchased the departure transfer from the port to Orlando International airport. Currently I'm looking for the flight schedule so that it would fit in the departure transfer. On the cruise itinerary it says that the ship departure is 8:30am. What is the earliest time should I book the return flight from the Orlando airport which I have to take into consider of the debark time, time it take the bus to drive to Orlando airport, time it take to check in our luggage and go through security. We are not rushing to fly home, we just want to make sure we have enough time to debark, get to the airport and check in. Also would you please explain how does the departure transfer work? Is Royal Caribbean going to assign us to certain bus departure or is it first come first serve? Thank you very much in advance.
FamilyMan Posted August 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2004 RCI agent told me that any flights after 12:00pm would be fine.
rcicruiser Posted August 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2004 Flights after noontime are ok 1 pm better. After you claim your luggage a RCI representive at the cruise terminal will direct you to the bus. Usually it is by flight time and airlines.
