Hi every one I am new to the site. My dad and I are going to be sailing on the Carnival Liberty on April 22nd 2007 for a 6 day cruise. We booked a balcony guarantee about a year and 3 months ago or so. Well yesterday we received our cruise documents from cruise brothers. Our stateroom was listed as room number 7445. We looked it up on carnival.com's deck plans of the ship. It looked bigger then the other balconies. I decided to call Carnival directly and find out exactly what our room was that we were staying in. The guy was like I see here you booked a balcony guarantee. I have good news it looks like you were upgraded to a Jr suite. He was like you may as well have played the lottery. I guess what he was trying to say was the chances of us getting that were very slim to none. This is great news. We only paid like $663 a person over a year ago and now to get a balcony on the same cruise costs $800+ and on some sites over a grand a person. I think my dad and I made out well. This is our second cruise. We want on a cruise about 6 or 7 years ago. I can't remember the cruise ship or line but it was a very small ship and I do know it want bankrupt a few years back I believe from what my dad told me. Any one who's been on this ship before or is bored and feels like checking out carnival's web site confirm that cabin 7445 is in fact a Jr suite or some kind of suite in general like the man on the phone said? It looks pretty big but I can't seem to find that color of green listed under the suite or balcony's color codes. Thanks every one.

I don't think this room is officially a Jr Suite. There are only a few of them on each ship, so it is hard to find information on them on the Carnival web site.

It has a regular sized bathroom and the room itself is set up kind of funny. But the balcony is spectacular. Most balconies have 2 chairs. This one would fit 4 lounge chairs! It is big! and you will have a 270 degree view and sunlight on the balcony most of the time.

These are the rooms that my husband and I try to get every time.

The rep was correct regarding the lottery reference. These rooms usually sell out a year or more in advance.

You can do a search here bu either cabin number (same on several Conquest Class ships) or 9A or wrap around balcony and you will find several threads on this type of cabin.

Enjoy!
