THERAPYCRUISE Posted March 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2007 I think there were 2 or 3 pools. They were very small and the jacuzzi was full of kids. Other than that the cruise itself was awesome. Have a great time.
kebhouse Posted March 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2007 We didn't get in the regular pools, only the whirlpool in the spa. Its nice, quiet, and fresh water, but it is small. There is a tiny hot tub, and then a small pool with warm water.
gospelle Posted March 28, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2007 The aft pool is often less crowded than the main pool. And it's right next to the pizza shop and ice cream machine!!!
caribbean dreams Posted March 28, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2007 The good news is........the Vlaor has an adult pool & spa, the bad news is......they were so full of kids so i was unable to try them out.
Mz CB Posted March 29, 2007 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2007 True, the pools are small and more for lounging in or sitting on the side in a couple inches of water while dangling your feet and chatting with other people. Besides the hot tub in the Spa, there are 3 pool areas (and maybe one at Camp Carnival?): 1) at the base of the water slide there is a small pool and a hot tub above it; 2) in the main Lido deck area (midship) there is a pool and 2 hot tubs; 3) in the aft portion of the Lido deck there is a pool and 2 hot tubs. We were on the Valor 2/25 - 3/4. Not a LOT of kids, and most hung out in the active areas of the Lido (water slide & midship pool areas). The aft pool areas really was MUCH quieter, both in terms of activity and noise. For instance, the volume of music in the midship area was SO loud we had to shout to talk to each other. This is also where a lot of the daily activities are held. The aft hot tubs were cleaned a lot, which was nice BUT it also meant that they were closed a great deal of the time. Hope you have a FABULOUS time! Counting the days (months:( ) til our next venture out onto the high seas...
