Karysa Posted March 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2007 We are planning a Eastern Canada cruise for our parents 50th anniversary this July and would love to make it really special for them. Any suggestions? They enjoy scenic drives and anything nature. They will not venture out on there own so renting a car is out of the question. Any suggestions? They enjoy scenic drives and anything nature. They will not venture out on there own so renting a car is out of the question. The Shore Excursion called : St. Andrews by-the-Sea Enjoy a scenic drive along the Bay of Fundy Coast to St. Andrews, a picturesque seaside town. Your visit to this resort community includes a private tour of the award winning Kingsbrae Garden. Duration 6 1/2 hours St. Andrews is about an hour and 15 min drive from Saint John. http://www.townofstandrews.ca/photogallery.cfmhttp://www.kingsbraegarden.com/ I am assuming they will be cruising on Carnival, as this is the only cruise with only a stop in Saint John. Here is their link for the St. Andrews tourhttp://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcursionDetails.aspx?portcode=YSJ&excursionname=St.+Andrews%2c+Gardens+%26+Lunch&excursioncode=226027 If they wanted to spend the day in Saint John itself, there is a nature tour called The Irving Nature Park Tour http://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcursionDetails.aspx?portcode=YSJ&excursionname=Irving+Nature+Park+Tour&excursioncode=226006 Saint John, is very historic so if this is something that may interest them There are a Horse dawn trolly tour of the city as wellhttp://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcursionDetails.aspx?portcode=YSJ&excursionname=Historical+Saint+John+by+Horsedrawn+Trolley&excursioncode=226004 If you want any other information, please feel free to ask

I know Carnival offers it and that is where we are going to book it, unless you know of another vendor? this is the Paddle type boat that came up there from Mississippi. Thanks, Julie

Karysa Posted April 18, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Does one need fancy cameras for this excursion or will a point and shoot and a pair of binoculars fit in o.k.?
