A Magical Day in St. John

Recommended Posts

We are planning a Eastern Canada cruise for our parents 50th anniversary this July and would love to make it really special for them. Any suggestions?

They enjoy scenic drives and anything nature. They will not venture out on there own so renting a car is out of the question.

The Shore Excursion called :

St. Andrews by-the-Sea

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Bay of Fundy Coast to St. Andrews, a picturesque seaside town. Your visit to this resort community includes a private tour of the award winning Kingsbrae Garden. Duration 6 1/2 hours

St. Andrews is about an hour and 15 min drive from Saint John.

I am assuming they will be cruising on Carnival, as this is the only cruise with only a stop in Saint John.

Here is their link for the St. Andrews tour

If they wanted to spend the day in Saint John itself, there is a nature tour called The Irving Nature Park Tour

Saint John, is very historic so if this is something that may interest them

There are a Horse dawn trolly tour of the city as well

Hi SJNB,

I replied on the other thread where you posted the link for Saint John but had a thought while on this thread that maybe you know something about the River cruise on Saint John river? I know Carnival offers it and that is where we are going to book it, unless you know of another vendor? this is the Paddle type boat that came up there from Mississippi. Thanks, Julie

I believe this tour is only offered through the cruise lines

Here is a link to the marina where it leaves from, and some info on the boat
