zazzy Posted June 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2004 Has anyone done this? How long is the trip? What is the cost? We are going to spend 2.5 extra days in Rome at the end of our cruise and thought we might try and take a train trip for part or most of that time. Any advice would be appreciated. Mike Andrews Posted June 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2004 The journey is just under two hours with a fare of 16.53 E on the Inter City service and 22.21 E on the Eurostar service.
Hornblower Posted June 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Basically Mike has answered your question, however if you want more info go to the following site (in English): Trenitalia - Italian State Rail At present the timetable is valid until December 11, 2004. Mermaid 2 Posted June 18, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2004 I would add that it very much worth it to take a Eurostar train instead of the Intercity.
