Belize on Legend - Discover Scuba or Snorkel?

We're traveling CCL on Legend in June. DD15 is a marine life NUT wanting to be a researcher. We're planning to do the CCL Discover Scuba in Belize. Has anyone done it? Would Snorkeling be better?

 

Thanks for any input. She just can't miss seeing the creatures near this reef!

Just make sure that the cruise line does not use Discovery Diving in Belize.

IMHO as an experienced diver these guys are UNSAFE!!!!

I know you asked about Belize. I am unable to help you there. I would like to offer MHO on snorkel vs. discover scuba for your DD. Take the scuba tour she will love it. You should be able to find out if it is a walk in from the beach or by boat. DW is gets sea sick easy and has never wanted to scuba. We did a walkin type discover scuba in Calica and this was her best excursion ever. She does not care for the snorkel trips at all. They really are crowded.
