Booking your next cruise....

while on a cruise. What is the advantage of booking your next cruise while on a cruise? Do you get some perks or discounts? Doing a Bahamas cruise next October, and the following year will be doing our Hawaii cruise and wondered if it would be advantageous to book it while on the Bahamas cruise. :confused:

Depending on the length of the cruise you book you get shipboard credit. A 7 day cruise is $100 shipboard credit.

Hummm, I guess that's something to think about. We are going to book a 11 night 12 Day cruise, so that would be great. Can u use the credit towards say a bottle of wine during dinner? :)

Would it be worth it for the ship board credit, versus booking through an agent? Would I get a better deal, saving more money through an agent, that would be more than the shipboard credit?

Momtobradley, you can do both, book onboard to get the credit, then have the booking transfered to your TA, you will then get the Onboard Credit and the benefit of the TA's lower price. Just be sure to keep the same booking ID # when you transfer.

And, Mom, if you book a 12day cruise, it is $100 pp shipboard credit. It is $50 pp for a 7 day. You can use it anyway you want.
