Freedom off ship by 6:25am for early flight

For those of you who have asked the question about getting off the Freedom for an early flight out of Miami. I just got back Sunday 4/1. We kept our bags the night before. We had 6 people and 9 total bags. Since we were able to carry our own bags off we went straight down to deck 4 at 6:15am and was going threw immigration/customs by 6:25. We took a van and were at the Miami Airport by 7:05 am. We made our 8:25 departure no problem.

However, if you dont carry your own luggage off, I dont know how long that takes. Just thought I would pass this info on.

Actually, it was the shortest line/wait time during our entire trip!

I would never try it. I'm glad it worked for you. There are just too many what ifs in getting back to port and off the ship in time.
