broadwayshopaholic Posted April 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2007 I know there's a Tiffany & Co. ...Anyone know what their prices are like? I've always wanted this necklace... it's $350 CAD here. Also, would there be a place in Grand Cayman where I can find stuff like knock off bags, like Coach and Prada and stuff? ...I'm also stopping in Freeport, Bahamas and Costa Maya... don't know if they have there? Any help is appreciated, thanks! ;) Thanks!

sstephy Posted April 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2007 Anyone at all? I can't answer your specific questions, but can tell you Grand Cayman is known for their high prices. I'm sure some bargains can be found, but for the most part you'll find exculsive stores with prices higher than the US because of the exchange rate. drew sailbum Posted April 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2007 You likely can find the original items, but I don't believe that knock offs will be readily found in GC.
DevilMike Posted April 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2007 Grand Cayman is definitely not known for knockoffs - as I've said in other threads, the place to shop on cruises is without a doubt St. Thomas. Try the Tiffany website or come down to NYC and get it at the flagship store.
RQINFL Posted April 12, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2007 Tiffany is sold at Little Switzerland. Their prices are no lower than what you will pay in the US - not sure about Canada. I guess the only benefit you would have is that you will not have sales tax.
kittymom65 Posted April 13, 2007 #7 Share Posted April 13, 2007 It has been my experience that Tiffany on the islands is the same prices as at home, just no taxes.
mtemple Posted April 17, 2007 #8 Share Posted April 17, 2007 I'll sell you mine for $100, and it's authentic! I have only worn it about 5 times, and for the rest of the time it's been sitting in my jewelry box untouched.:D
