Galveston Port Wedding

I am getting married 8/06/07 at the port of Galveston on the Carnival Ecstasy. I think I know what to give my guest as far as gifts but from what I understand you can only bring on a small bag when you first arrive. This includes things I need for the wedding for myself etc. Do you just pack the favors in your big luggage and wait until after the fact??? I am confused.

From what I understand, you can bring your small bag with all of your stuff you need that day, plus you or your travelers can bring on the favors in a box, bag etc..... They make it very strict, but for a wedding it should be ok

I had no problem at all bringing everything that was needed for my wedding. No questions asked. We had 2 small carry ons as well as 2 shopping bags and a big box.
