Leslieswiger Posted August 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2004 My partner and I will fly from Toronto, Ontario to Buenos Aires and tour that part of the country for a couple of weeks. Will fly on to Santiago for a week and our two lady friends will arrive the day before we sail 4/15.;) You can now go to HAL web site and down load the new land tours for 2005. Lots to do and I am already talking with several who will be on the cruise also. If I can anyway be of help, just e-mail. Schultz with a T

RevNeal Posted August 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2004 That is one of my dream cruises ... a cruise I plan on taking probably sometimes within the next 10 or so years. I can manage a full month off, but Christopher can't until after 2007 ... so ... we wait and, just as importantly, save. :) I was looking at the price on that cruise. YIKES. Due to the timing of that voyage in the Spring (over Easter) I have to look at the Fall itinerary. An M-category inside cabin, including airfare, is $4,913.58 per person. OUCH. but ... do-able. :) It'll take a while to save that much ... but let it. :)
RoyW Posted August 6, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2004 You might also check out the "Roll Call" board. There are a few of us and my wife and I will be going all the way to Seattle - 36 days in all. Looking forward to it! Roy W
jschutz Posted August 6, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted August 6, 2004 I will check out the "Roll Call Board." We are in a guaranteed cabin(H) for the Rio-Valpariso trip, and then in a Cat A (Cabin # 6173) for the Valpariso-San Diego portion. I haven't signed up for the CC roll, but will. We'll have to get together for a cocktail (or two) on the trip. You must have a credit card with higher limits than mine :D . We did our own air and will arrive in Rio and do the 1 or 2 night pre-cruise deal in Rio - at the Sheraton. Are you doing the same>???
jschutz Posted August 6, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted August 6, 2004 LEISWEIGER: Cannot e-mail you as your profile is set up to not receive e-mails. If you are going to be in Rio pre-cruise we will be there the day before (3/29) at the Sheraton.
lknick Posted August 6, 2004 #8 Share Posted August 6, 2004 Did this itenerary 2 years on the Ryandam. Just wonderful. May your weather and seas be as smooth as mine were. And don't forget, South does not necessarily mean warm...as one of my fellow cruisers did who only brought shorts for the day.
