Please be careful...my family got sick on the Spirit

If you can't even trust the bottled water there, what's safe to eat & drink while in these ports?

 

I've been to Mexico many times, and have never gotten ill. I drink the Margarita's, eat their food, order foo foos' from Carlos and Charlies and have been just fine. You could always stick to bottled beer, or cans, or bring your own bottled water off the ship.

We just got off the Spirit, and we also ate food at the Playa Mazatlan Hotel, no one got sick on this cruise.

I find since my boys have grown up and aren't in school anymore, we never get sick. I hardly ever did anyway, but I haven't had a stomach bug in at least 8 or so years.

 

Uh oh, you shouldn't have said that! You know you are just inviting trouble with that statement!!:D

I usually get it about every 3 years. The kids have done well avoiding it lately. The stomach bug is SO BAD!!!! You just want to die. Nothing like laying on your bathroom floor with the sweats. Ick. That's no way to spend a vacation!
