New Years Day

Recommended Posts

I will be spending New Years Eve and Day in Honolulu before my Jan 2 POA cruise. I was hoping to see Pearl Harbor on New Years Day, but I just found out that they will be closed.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do on New Years Day in Honolulu?

Thanks!

If you are in Waikiki on New Year's Eve, they may have fireworks from offshore barges there. Kalakaua Ave gets very crowded. We were there a few years ago and they had police in riot gear, but they weren't needed. New Year's day, a good day for going to the beach and or a drive around the Island for sightseeing.
