UofMGoBlue Posted April 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2007 I will be spending New Years Eve and Day in Honolulu before my Jan 2 POA cruise. I was hoping to see Pearl Harbor on New Years Day, but I just found out that they will be closed. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do on New Years Day in Honolulu? Thanks! bug_dan Posted April 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2007 If you are in Waikiki on New Year's Eve, they may have fireworks from offshore barges there. Kalakaua Ave gets very crowded. We were there a few years ago and they had police in riot gear, but they weren't needed. New Year's day, a good day for going to the beach and or a drive around the Island for sightseeing.
