I can't quite remember what our total bill was for the 7-night Alaska cruise. But the bar tab was almost $700! That's for two of us!

Bar bill, tips and wine at dinner $1475 for 2. Me thinks we drink a little too much, but the Adventure was sooooo much fun.

About $1,200 for two of us, not including gambling. But it was our honeymoon, so a tad bit a splurging was in order. We generally don't spend that much normally.

That is exactly what we do. Our highest bill was $800 and that included excursions. Now it is around $250 for a seven night.

1500 for the two of us on the Empress for our Honeymoon. That was for booze, pictures, casino, bingo and souveneirs.

I needed to top him, and get new diamond anniversary ring...

 

Guilt set in after we disembarked, but I do *LOVE* my ring...

 

Usually, for five we *normally* spend around $2000.00, but we prepay our gratutities and excursions. We're on vacation!!!! You can't take it with you, so we travel alot, and don't worry about the money so much if we are having a good time. We may end up poor when we are old, but we will have alot of good traveling memories....:)

Why would anyone flame you? I mean, if you are on the ship, and you NEED the Teg Heuer, and a diamond ring, what are you supposed to do? Have the Captain pull over to jewelry store?;) I know exactly what you mean though, the print I bought was to finish out a set....but somehow the fact I bought it on a ship, makes it more valuable to me.
