CruiseChat Posted April 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2007 I have heard both ways - don't want to take them unless I have to. Can you board the ship with just a state issued drivers license since the ship does not visit foreign ports? I have heard both ways. Please advise. drc404 Posted April 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2007 There are signs out all over the place at the checkin telling you to have your passport ready, but when we went in February, we just handed them our divers licenses and they didn't even blink. kapoho2 Posted April 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2007 The Pride of America cruises entirely in Hawaii waters...which means you never leave the United States. A DL is fine. The passport signs are probably for those folks from foreign countries.
