Time to waste in Port Everglades

We have a 4:45p.m. return flight out of Fort Lauderdale Airport. From the message board I understand that the cruise line will get us off the ship (Carnival Liberty) by 10:30 a.m., much faster than we anticipated. That leaves us with about 5 hours to kill. Any suggestions? We will have luggage.

We did the Everglades tour with airport transfer through Carnival. The tour was a good way to spend some time and it gave us something to do with our luggage. You meet in the main lounge around 8:15 and you will be the first group off the ship after self-assist debarcation. After the tour, we arrived at the airport around 12:30, which still gave us a fair amount of time at the airport - but then, it took us about two hours to make it through the Air Tran check-in line with our baggage, so the extra time didn't hurt.
