Royal Caribbean & Philadelphia

I am planning on cruising in the fall of 2008. I know that Royal Caribbean has sold the Empress of the Seas. Does anyone know if they are going to replace that ship with another one. It looks like RC is doing away with the 7 day Bermuda cruise and going to 5 day only...is this true? I also would like to leave from Philadelphia.

The rumor on the RCI board is that none of their ships will cruise from Phila after 2007. They will, apparently, continue cruising from Bayonne NJ (to Bermuda, etc). That will leave only NCL cruising from Phila- and they only have a few cruises- not all summer.

 

Definitely bummed!!!! Phila is certainly convenient for a lot of us!
