Katyany Posted May 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2004 How do you go about deleting posts that you yourself have written? I would think if you don't want your own words up there you can have them removed. I tried, but they were not removed, and the forum host does not seem to have an email available. The option to delete more than 1/2 hour after writing a post should be available, shouldn't it.
Druke I Posted May 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2004 I've never had any luck with the delete feature - and do agree that it is hard to get people from cruise critic to answer e-mails. I guess we just have to consider longer and harder before we make the post! Michael
Katyany Posted May 9, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 9, 2004 You're so right. Better to get a diary or something, then to impulsively express thoughts that you may disagree with the next day (or that you might say while in a strange mood, or after no sleep and a little too much wine). Administrators Rare LauraS Posted May 10, 2004 Administrators #5 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Hi there! We have the "delete" function disabled. Reason? Fly-by-night attacks can be removed before HOSTS see them, yet the damage is done. If you want a post deleted, you can contact me at up4travel@aol.com OR for quicker service (big grin) simply click the yellow triangle alert icon on the bottom of your post...include the words "please remove my post" and someone will take care of it asap.
