Great Stirrup Cay - Spirit 5/27

We are on NCL Spirit 5/27 sailing. Please share what is available to do in Great Stirrup Cay. The time we are there is so weird. We really want to do some snorkling - is it available and how good is it? Anything we should know to make the experience the best possible?

I was on NCL last year - my kids enjoyed Great Stirrup Cay - there is snorkeling (which you can book on the ship) which we did enjoy. You'll have to go way out deep in order to really see the cool fish! The beach did get crowded later in the day so I suggest taking an early tender to the island so you can get a lounge chair. The island is smaller than I expected it to be. The food was really great and they do have souvenir huts for shopping. I suggest the parasailing - we didnt' get to do it because by time I decided to book it it was full, so I suggest you book early. You can rent floats and tubes for the day.
