jamaicanjana Posted April 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2007 My first cruise is 4-28-07 on Enchantment of the Seas and am wondering how the slot machines take money. Do we use our cruise card or can we bring quarters to put in or do they only take dollar bills? And the same question goes for black jack. I don't plan on gambling much, becuz I hear the slots are tight and it's hard to find a blackjack table. Thanks.
kitty9 Posted April 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2007 You can put bills in any denomination into the machines. You can also purchase coins at the cashier cage to put into machines. I feel it's just easier to feed paper money into the machines rather than coins. Blackjack tables have a $5 minimum and take cash. You can use your sign and sail card to take money out at the casino cage. You can't use your SS card in the machines.

blindrid Posted May 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Can't totally remember but I think there is a surcharge if you get cash at the Casino on your card. It's not much and most times there is an ATM in the casino. I always take cash.
kitty9 Posted May 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2007 RCCI doesn't have a service charge to take money out of the casino cage. The ATM, like most ATM's that aren't from your bank, charges a fee, but no fee from the casino. Princess does have a surcharge for casino cash, but not RCCI. elleluv Posted May 14, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2007 I just wanted to verify that RCCL does not charge a service fee for cash taken out in the casino on your sea pass card... The charge also shows as an entertainment expense and not as a cash advance, so there isn't any additional charge by the credit card company. I'm not a slot player, but I've noticed on my past couple of cruises that there is a place on the slot machine to insert your sea pass card. There were signs up that they are offering some type of rewards program for slot players. I'm not sure if inserting the sea pass cards are just for purposes of tracking points for rewards or if you can actually charge your slot use to the card.
