Transportation - Getting to your tour

We just got back from the Mexican Riviera on board Visions of the Sea, we got to the point of doing our own tour schedules after the cattle calls on the cruise line tours.

This time I thought why pay a cab driver $15.00 dollars or more each way just to get to our tour, being the adventures type we decided to take the local transportation, the bus.

Not only did we save a lot of money, average bus ticket is 80 cents each way, but we had a great time talking with the locals, many of which speak at least some English.

Bus transportation is good in Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, give it a try.
