QM2 Indoor Pool

This is a very small area. There are only about 60 lounges for 2,600 passengers when the weather is bad. I guess Cunard knows its passengers and feels that not many bother with indoor pools, even during their winter crossings, but I would have thought the space would have been made larger, like the ones Grand class ships offer on Princess. The 2 whirlpools there are very small. My impression was that the space was put in as a token gesture. Interestingly, a friend of mine who sailed on one of the summer Caribbean sailings out of New York used it as a place to get out of the heat since it is climate controlled.
