Sports Bar on the Legend Question

Do they get ESPN? My team is playing on the Sunday night game when we are on board and I wanted to know if I was going to be able to watch it :)

I believe that WAS one of the channels we got aboard the Legend. And the sports bar never seemed to be crowded either. :)

Yes ESPN is one of the channels available in the Sports Bar on the Legend. If you go in there and the game is not on, just ask them to put it on for you. The bar is never crowded and they have several TV's that can broadcast four different stations at the same time. They also have nickel slots at the bar which you can play and watch the game. Have fun you will love the Legend I have been on her three times and have booked the Aug 25th 2005 sailing already.

When did Carnival start broadcasting ESPN? It was not on the Legend when I sailed on here back in November of 2002. It also was not in the sports bar on the Triumph back in March or on the Glory last year. I will be interested from others that have been on any of the Carnival ships lately to see if it was on their ships in the sports bar or cabin.

I was on the Legend the last week of May. They had ESPN in the rooms, and in the Sports Bar ONE NIGHT of the cruise!!!

Most of the time the Sports Bar showed primetime shows, on ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Hopefully you'll see the game on ESPN, but don't be disappointed if you can't.


We asked the bar tender in the Sports Bar why we didn't have ESPN, and he said they had problems with the Satellite Feed, so maybe it was a temporary problem that has been fixed...
