Summit cc cabins

We are booked on the Summit southbound cruise in June and are so excited. We chose the cc cabin and the only one available was on the 9th deck. Since this is our first cruise we weren't aware that it may not have been the right choice. Anyone have any experiences on the 9th deck with noise from the deck above? I know it is a public deck but is it noiser than having another cabin right above you?

I have cruised in two CC cabins on deck 9 on Summit (9127 & 9154). Both were under the buffet seating areas of deck 10. No noise from above due to people. 9154 did have some noise from what seemed to be a pipe, coming from above the closet. Not bad though.

Cabins under the pool deck area could have a problem with noise from activities above on deck 10 and the pool/spa plumbing (there have been reports of this).

Therefore, I would suggest avoiding the cabins under pool/spa area.
