newbie2468 Posted April 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Has anyone ever stayed in this suite? Is is noisy with Club Fusion below? Does the balcony wrap aroud to the port side? Would I be better off booking a mini-suite on Dolphin mid ship for a Southbound Alaskan cruise? Thanks.. gotta choose in the next day or two.. Any pics? Emeraldtx Posted April 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Here's a picture of the stern of Sapphire: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1322146226068385272LRGubf The balcony of 730 does not wrap around. The balcony you see sticking out on the left is room E728. That said, I've booked the room next door (regular balcony cabin), E732 for our Alaskan cruise. I would not want a Dolphin minisuite, as they are uncovered, and in Alaska the weather could be dicey. I'd like to enjoy my balcony even in the rain! :D As for Club Fusion noise, I'm told it's minimal, particularly on Alaskan itineraries, but I have no personal experience. It seems some folks (not all) are bothered by the noise of the wake. Supposed to sound like a very large waterfall, which frankly is FINE by me. I'm looking VERY forward to my aft-cabin-experience in Alaska. Have fun choosing yours!!
newbie2468 Posted April 16, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Thanks Emeraldtx... a great picture of the aft...I am thinking that the views would be great from there. Now to hope the "price is right!"
