 For all the married women, when using your birth certificate as a form of ID do the cruise lines need a marriage licence also to verify you since the name you were born with isn't your married name. I had to send my original marriage license with my application for a name change on my passport and I don't think I will get my passport or marriage license back in time for my cruise!! now what do I do?????????????????????????????

The name on your cruise documents must match the name on your photo ID, so if that's different, you might have a problem. Every cruise line knows that most adult women won't have the same last name as they did when they were born, so that's not a concern. But, if you're newly married, and the name on your cruise ticket isn't the same as on your driver's license, there could be some questions. I've done 49 cruises, and I've never been asked for my marriage license or divorce decree. But the name on my tickets has always matched the name on my passport or driver's license.
