Orlando ? Port Canaveral ?Confusion abounds !

:confused: We are considering an Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral on Carnival Glory. The website says (Orlando). How far to the port?,and what are my options for transportation ? Thanks.It is either this one or a Southern itenerary from Ft.L. on Miracle. Help please.

The Port is about 45 minutes from the airport, MCO/Orlando International, which is inland. Evening before hotels are located in Cocoa Beach. Many people rent cars if they are flying in and a couple of the rental agencies have locations near the port with shuttles. I drive down to Port Canaveral from Atlanta so can't help you there, and other than Disney's transfers i am not familiar with what the other cruiselines offer, though a transfer must be available from Carnival, just ask your TA.
